Every Hyundai Ioniq comes with a charging cable that can be used to charge the car from a domestic power point. However this will only charge the car at 10 A meaning to completely recharge, the process may take up to 15 hours!

The Ioniq is compatible with many other chargers which use the Type 2 - 62196 plug standard.  These can provide up to 32A of current, meaning the EV model can be fully charged in 4-5 hours. Installing a charging station removes the hassle of a potable charger and is the best choice for electric vehicle owners.
