How do I get started?

First things first! Make sure you have your cable on hand and ready to use.

You’ll also need to have the Chargefox app or a Chargefox RFID card to help you pay.

If you don’t have an RFID card, download the Chargefox App and follow the instructions. The Chargefox mobile app can be downloaded by searching ‘Chargefox’ on the IOS Apple App or Google Play Store.

If you would like an RFID card, you can order via the Chargefox mobile app. Order as soon as possible to ensure the quickest delivery time.

       To Start Charging

Step 1: Plug your charging cable into the charger, and then into your EV.

         To Stop Charging

Step 1: Open the Chargefox app and follow the instructions OR swipe your card on the JET Charge logo.

What’s required for me to charge?

To use the installed chargers, you’ll need:
– Your own cable
– The Chargefox mobile app OR a Chargefox RFID card

Which cable do I need?

You will need either a Type 2 to Type 1 or Type 2 to Type 2 public charging cable, depending on the make and model of your EV.

The charging station will have a Type 2 socket, but the socket on the EV may differ depending on your EV model.

Type 2 is the Australian standard for AC plug type since 2018, so all new EV models will require a Type 2 to Type 2 public charging cable. However, older EV models may have a type 1 socket on the vehicle and require a Type 2 to Type 1 public charging cable.

How long does it take to charge?

Charging time depends on the supply power and the make and model of the vehicle.

A single-phase connected ChargeMate can add up to ~40km per hour of charge.

A three-phase connected ChargeMate can add up ~120km per hour of charge.
