The Polestar 2 can be charged up to 11kW at home, which will provide approximately 50km of range per hour of charge. This is available for three phase homes. For single phase homes, you can charge at up to 7.2kW, which will provide you approximately 30km of range per hour of charge.

Of course, you can always plug into a GPO on a dedicated circuit, but that will give you below 2.5kW, providing only around 9km of range per hour of charge. You won’t be able to get a full charge overnight

By using a dedicated Polestar approved Level 2 charging station, you can charge your electric car up to 5 times faster than a normal power circuit. That means up to 50km of range for hour of charge on a three phase circuit, more than enough to top up the daily commute and daily running around overnight.
