How does CORK work?
EV chargers use a lot of power, and running several at once can quickly push a site to its limits. CORE monitors the power available and intelligently distributes it across your chargers in real time, helping avoid trips, higher demand costs and unnecessary infrastructure upgrades.
How does CORE compare to cloud-only solutions?
CORE combines cloud management with an onsite edge device, so load management keeps working even if your internet connection doesn’t. Cloud-only systems rely on connectivity, which can leave charging exposed to interruptions, delays or power issues during an outage.
Can I set maximum capacity by time of day?
Yes. CORE can set different power limits throughout the day, helping you reduce charging during high-demand periods and lower your energy costs.
CORE has different edge devices to suit different charging sites, from fewer than 50 charger connections through to sites with up to 1,000.
Is CORE NCC compliant?
Yes, when paired with JET Charge’s purpose-built EVDB module.
What integrations and protocols does CORE support?
CORE supports Modbus, REST APIs and OCPP 1.6, allowing it to integrate with chargers and other energy systems. It’s designed for Australian requirements and can be configured for local standards.
Can I prioritise certain drivers?
Yes. CORE’s VIP setting lets you give selected drivers priority charging access when they need it.
Can CORE support large or multi-site deployments?
Yes. CORE supports unlimited sites and 500+ chargers per site, making it suitable for large and multi-site charging networks.
