How fast will my Polestar charge?
The Polestar 2 can be charged up to 11kW at home, which will provide approximately 50km of range per hour of charge. This is available for three phase homes. For single phase homes, you can charge at up to 7.2kW, which will provide you approximately 30km of range per hour of charge.
Of course, you can always plug into a GPO on a dedicated circuit, but that will give you below 2.5kW, providing only around 9km of range per hour of charge. You won’t be able to get a full charge overnight
How do I charge my Polestar 2 electric vehicle?
At home – Smart Charging
Most of your charging will be done at home, so we recommend that you purchase a dedicated charging station for your Polestar 2 electric vehicle. This will allow you to have a safe and fast charging experience, providing you the opportunity for a full charge overnight.
The Pulsar Plus is our recommended EV charger for your vehicle. It’s probably the most popular home charging station in Australia and New Zealand, with solar charging, a wonderful and intuitive mobile app and even lifetime access to a web portal where you can monitor and download all of your charging data.
