What we do 

From humble origins installing one of the first Tesla chargers in Victoria, JET Charge is now, 10 years down the track, Australia’s leading EV charging infrastructure and technology company.   

We are the preferred charging partner for almost all vehicle brands and have deployed more charging stations than any other company in Australia, from one car garages right through to some of the world’s largest EV infrastructure highway projects. Our in-house team of developers also produce industry leading charging technology, from chargers to grid and energy management systems, with our products being behind the scenes of some of the world’s leading EV charging projects.

The Role 

JET Charge is growing rapidly as an organisation, both in terms of its customer base and the staff we need to support that growth.  While we have a sound established base to our warehousing, it now needs to evolve with the changes to the organisation.  Both in terms of our strategic direction and to maximise the value of our investment in NetSuite, particularly the warehousing module.  We require a person who is both closely engaged with the team and strategic to help make our warehousing, stock management and stock movement meet the current and future needs of JET Charge

Logistics and Warehouse

Manage the consolidation of our warehouses to optimise safety, cost and efficiency of warehousing, inventory management and associated JET Charge required activities by 31/12/25

  • Manage the staffing arrangements of the above and further changes in JET Charge’s core business as they emerge. 
  • Continue to review our current warehouse size, location, and logistics, (including 3PL options), determine and make recommendations on the on optimising our storage locations and stock movements (including optimal time for a new warehouse) by 30/6/26
  • Warehouse processes are standardised, documented and user friendly.  
  • Continue to review storage and workflow practices and, using strong change management practices, continually deliver measurable improvements in efficiency, costs and stock management 
  • Oversight day to day Warehouse activities to ensure efficient stock movement and management, intervening where required
  • Deliver within the operating budget for 2025/26 and prepare the budget for warehousing activities for 2026/27, meeting the timeframes set by the Finance team 

Manage Resources and activities to meet key operational KPI’s 

NetSuite for Warehousing

  • Ensure issues which impact dispatch are logged each day, consolidated for root causes and reported fortnightly for action.  
  • For root causes, where they are in warehouse control, implement solutions, where outside of the teams control escalate to Project team/Process Improvement teams for action and work collaboratively with them to resolve and rectify those issues 
  • Work to eliminate all root causes by 20/6/26 noting that this will require much collaboration with many parts of the business.

Pre Commissioning

Ensure that the Pre-commissioning team KPI’s are established, reported and met for their KPI’s for customers in 2025/26. KPIs include but are not limited to: 

  • Items Made Ready on / before Due Date
  • Available Hours / Utilised Hours 
  • Pre-commissioning processes are standardised, documented and user friendly, with continual delivery of measurable improvements in time and cost. 
  • Review and implement process and staffing arrangements and processes to support on-time performance. 
  • Ensure that Warranty chargers are tested, assessed and claimed where possible, to minimise backlog and optimise JET Charge cash flow 

Production

  • Ensure thorough, up to date and accurate production forecasts are provided each fortnight for Chargemate and Core 
  • Production processes are standardised, documented and user friendly, with continual delivery of measurable improvements in time and cost. Ensure quality documentation and inspections are produced and prepared as part of ISO 9001  processes and QA is undertaken to requirements each batch
  • Ensure smooth production processes, including monitoring of incoming items, quality assurance inspections and defect management 
  • Implement KPI’s to ensure that all JET Charge products assist in optimising JET Charge Inventory Management,

OKR's

  • In collaboration with your customers and your team, establish a set of OKR’s for the team publish and report progress on them as part of day to day business each month 
  • Undertake survey’s of customers twice over 2025/26.  Demonstrate material improvement in the outcomes in the second survey 

Stocktake

Manage the annual stocktake, achieving a: 

  • A 50% reduction in stock written off is achieved for the June 2026 stocktake 
  • All timeframes agreed with Finance are met 

Team Management

Manage your teams ensuring that all staff have: 

  • Performance review and development plans in place 
  • Regular reviews of performance
  • Ensure adequate staff and training programs are in place to always meet business and customer needs 
  • Train and empower staff to find and implement improvements within the overall warehousing strategy 
  • Ensure all documentation is in place for the team to manage NetSuite by 31 November 2025 

Manage and lead the team to achieve required SLA’s 

WHS

Ensure safe and healthy workplace practices are in place to: 

  • Identify and mitigate risks
  • Minimise workplace incidents 
  • Support staff wellbeing 
  • To achieve the objective of a zero-harm workplace. 
  • Ensure all tools and equipment are kept up to date and all compliance obligations are met on time 

What are we looking for in our candidates?

Mandatory:

Demonstrated performance in managing warehousing activities at a National or International level, ideally including assembly processes

Demonstrated record in Workplace Health and Safety and associated warehouse documentation

Demonstrated team leadership

Ability to think strategically and solve complex warehousing and logistics problems

Ability to build effective working relationships with our people, external contractors and suppliers

Someone who will model our values and live our culture

Desirable:

Associate degree (or equivalent) in logistics or supply chain management
