To use the installed chargers, you’ll need:
– Your own cable
– The Chargefox mobile app OR a Chargefox RFID card
You will need either a Type 2 to Type 1 or Type 2 to Type 2 public charging cable, depending on the make and model of your EV.
The charging station will have a Type 2 socket, but the socket on the EV may differ depending on your EV model.
Type 2 is the Australian standard for AC plug type since 2018, so all new EV models will require a Type 2 to Type 2 public charging cable. However, older EV models may have a type 1 socket on the vehicle and require a Type 2 to Type 1 public charging cable.
Charging time depends on the supply power and the make and model of the vehicle.
A single-phase connected ChargeMate can add up to ~40km per hour of charge.
A three-phase connected ChargeMate can add up ~120km per hour of charge.
